(BOISE) – Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested an Emmett man on Thursday January 25th, 2024, for alleged sexual exploitation of a child.

Fifty-one-year-old Kevin Kirkland was booked into the Ada County Jail on federal charges.  Kirkland has been charged with possession of sexually exploitative material.

The Emmett Police Department and Department of Homeland Security assisted the ICAC Task Force with the arrest.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
