(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of a Boise man Wednesday, November 20, for alleged sexual exploitation of a minor.
The U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force arrested 60-year-old Ronald T. Brockner. He was booked into the Ada County Jail. Brockner is alleged to have possessed sexually exploitative material. The investigation began after an electronic service provider notified law enforcement that an individual was in possession of sexually exploitative material.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges could result. Anyone with information on this case or Mr. Brockner is asked to call the ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700.
The U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force, Boise Police Department, Ada County Sheriff’s Office and Ada County Prosecutor’s Office assisted the ICAC Unit.
Anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General’s ICAC Unit, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
