The Attorney General shares Idahoans’ concerns about the effects high gas prices can have on consumers’ pocketbooks, family budgets and costs to business. The Consumer Protection Division monitors Idaho’s gas prices and prepares a gas report each month that compares Idaho’s prices with prices in other states. The report also summarizes Idaho’s wholesale and retail prices.

A variety of factors contribute to the overall cost of a gallon of gas in Idaho and the rise and fall of those prices across the state.
