Crime Victim Assistance

Attorney General Lawrence Wasden is committed to protecting the rights of crime victims in Idaho. The Criminal Law Division’s Victim/Witness Coordinator provides statewide victim assistance. Direct assistance is provided to victims whose cases are being handled by the Attorney General’s Office, either in the Appellate Unit or through our Special Prosecutions Unit. General victim assistance information and referral services are available to all victims of crime in Idaho.

To contact the Victim/Witness Coordinator, please call (208) 334–4547 (within the Treasure Valley), or toll–free at (888) 334–4547. You can also reach our Victim/Witness Coordinator by e–mail.

If you are a victim in a case that is currently being handled by the Office of Attorney General and would like to be kept informed of the proceedings in the case, please complete the Victim Notification Form to provide us with your contact information. If your case is not being handled by our office, please contact your local Victim/Witness Coordinator. Click here for statewide and federal coordinators contacts.
