Pamela Lambert Sentenced for Petit Theft
(Boise) – Former Emmett Assistant City Clerk Pamela Lambert, was sentenced today for petit theft, a misdemeanor, Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said. Magistrate Tyler Smith sentenced Lambert to 90 days in jail and ordered her to pay a $1,000 fine. Lambert was also ordered to pay $4,524 in restitution. The court suspended the jail sentence and fine.
Lambert, 38, was formerly employed by the City of Emmett as the Assistant City Clerk. In its complaint, the state alleged that on August 4, 2006, Lambert took cash from the city.
Lambert admitted to the theft, by pleading guilty on September 10, 2009.
The Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit prosecuted the case at the request of former Gem County Prosecutor Timothy Fleming. Deputy Attorney General Chris Topmiller prosecuted the case.
