Dustin Van Wagner Sentenced for Possession of Methamphetamine
(Boise) - Dustin Scott Van Wagner was sentenced on one felony county of possession of methamphetamine, Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said. Fourth District Judge Ronald J. Wilper sentenced Van Wagner to five years in prison with one year fixed. The court retained jurisdiction for 180 days.
Boise resident Dustin Van Wagner, 26, was arrested on December 7, 2005, after a Boise police officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a neighborhood. The officer discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and arrested Van Wagner on felony possession with the intent to deliver. The passenger in Van Wagner’s vehicle was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The Special Prosecutions Unit of the Attorney General's Criminal Law Division handled the case at the request of Ada County Prosecuting Attorney Greg Bower.
