Centerville Woman Sentenced on Petit Theft Charge

(Boise) - Lesa Ann Lampson, 39, of Centerville pleaded guilty and was sentenced yesterday on one count of petit theft for stealing three computers from the Idaho City High School, Attorney General Wasden said. Fourth District Magistrate Roger Cockerille sentenced Lampson to two days in jail, 60 hours of community service and fined her $150. Lampson was also placed on probation for one year.

Lampson was an employee of the Idaho City High School and was charged with stealing three computers from her employer between December of 2003 and July of 2004.

The Special Prosecutions Unit of the Attorney General's Criminal Law Division prosecuted the case at the request of Boise County Prosecuting Attorney Theresa Gardunia. Deputy Attorney General J. Scott James prosecuted the case.
