Boise City Investigation Closed
(Boise) - Attorney General Lawrence Wasden today said that his office has concluded its investigation related to the City of Boise and that no additional criminal charges will be filed.
Wasden's office also released the records of all the other branches of the now closed investigation. The Attorney General's Office had previously released the records of the closed investigations relating to H. Brent Coles, Gary L. Lyman and Tamara Rice.
The documents made public today are the records of closed investigations of certain matters involving Susan Mimura, Donald Pierce, Suzanne Burton and James Chris Hunt. No criminal charges will be filed as a result of those investigations.
Ada County Prosecuting Attorney Greg Bower referred the case to the Attorney General.
Under Idaho law, records of inactive law enforcement investigations are public records. Citizens may obtain a copy of the records released today by making a written request addressed to:
