Do Not Call Information

The Do Not Call Registry
Under Idaho law, it is unlawful for telemarketers to call Idaho phone numbers registered on the Federal Trade Commission's National Do Not Call Registry.  Idaho does not maintain its own do not call list, and the Attorney General's Office cannot register your telephone number on the National Do Not Call Registry.

It is free to add your home landline and cell phone numbers to the National Do Not Call Registry, and you only have to do so once. The Registry never expires. Click here to add your telephone numbers to the Do Not Call Registry.

File a Complaint with the Attorney General's Office
If your telephone number has been registered on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least three months and you receive an unwanted telemarketing call, click here to file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division.

File a Complaint with the Federal Trade Commission
You should also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, the agency that manages the National Do Not Call Registry. You may file a complaint online at www.donotcall.gov.
