Attorney General's Office Job Opportunity

Position Available: Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division.
Salary: Salary DOE - Full state employee benefits package.
Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho's capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 214,200 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho's world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access. Housing costs are moderate.
Primary Duties: The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a civil litigation workload which could include litigation involving employment, torts, natural resources, environmental claims, occupational licensing and constitutional interpretation. Attorneys in the Civil Litigation Division represent the State of Idaho, its constitutional officers, departments and agencies in matters related to those areas listed above.
Requirements: Admission to or a willingness to sit for the Idaho Bar. Experience in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings and the ability to handle a large civil litigation case load are desirable. Two or more years experience in civil litigation is preferred.
